The Power to Change Ourselves Instantly

I believe that there should be a way to change ourselves instantly. But I haven't yet found it.

I don't believe that changing ourselves should take months or years. The reason for this belief is my faith in it. I don't have any rational explanation for my belief. Like faith in God's existence, it is an intuition that I have.

An example will make things clearer.  Let us say I want to stop being angry at people who don't do things the way I expect them to do them. Now if I want to stop being angry, I feel that I just need to decide that from this moment I am not going to be angry, come what may. I'll do whatever it takes to stop being angry. I shouldn't take too long to make this decision. I know that I don't stick to this decision for long. My faith is that there should be a way of making irreversible decisions.

Do I need a help from my spiritual self - from my Atman. E Stanley Jones says that we won't change ourselves until we surrender ourselves to Jesus Christ. As I am a Hindu, I'll interpret that statement to include surrender to Lord Krishna, or Rama, or any other incarnation of God. I haven't tried that out. So I am not sure whether this way will work.

The Bible says, "Ask and you shall find". I am in search of the way that will change me in an instant. I am confident that this way exists. I'll find it out - with God's help.
